Demonstration site. Fold Lane Farm Shop is invented — every price, figure and opening time here is illustrative. Built by SonderVia to show what a farm shop's website could be.

Farm shop · open six days

Grown up the lane,
sold at the gate.

Veg pulled the same morning, our own beef and lamb, and bread from the village baker every Friday. What we haven't grown, we can tell you who did.

What's on the shelves

It changes. That is rather the point of it. Here is what is usually there.

Veg from the field

Whatever is ready. Roots through winter, salad and beans from June, and squash until we run out.

Our own beef and lamb

Reared on the farm, hung properly, butchered locally. Boxes for the freezer by arrangement.

Bread and baking

From the village bakery, Friday mornings. Sourdough goes by ten, so come early or ring to put one by.

The pantry shelf

Eggs, honey, cheese, jam and chutney from farms and kitchens within about twenty miles.

Weekly veg boxes

Made up Tuesday, collected from the shop or delivered within twenty miles of the farm gate on Wednesday. No contract — pause it whenever you like.

Illustrative figures on a demonstration site. On a real build these would be your genuine prices, and the box list could update itself each week without you touching any code.

Three fields and a polytunnel

Fold Lane is not a big farm. It is three fields, a polytunnel, a small herd and whatever the weather allows. That is why the shop changes week to week, and why we would rather tell you what is good today than promise you the same list all year.

Everything is no-dig and nothing travels far. If we are selling it and we did not grow it, the label says who did and how far it came.

Start a box, or just come and look.

No sign-up needed to visit — the shop is open six days and you are welcome to walk round the field edge while you are here.
